Long Term Influence
Hypnotic Tango is respected across the board by dance artists, and it has been sampled by many artists over the years. In 1992 Bandulu took the enigmatic synth hook from Hypnotic Tango and combined it with dub reggae techniques to create a slow building prog classic. Bandulu don't get enough credit for being ahead of the dub techno first wave by explicitly combining dub reggae, techno and house in the early 1990s.
